Mary Barkanic

I have been working in the floral industry for over 18 years, I started working with  flowers while attending college at an Annaoplis Florist. In 1996 I traveled to London,  England for a 3 month extensive floral culture course with the renowned Jane Packer. After returning from London I opened a freeze dried flower business with 2 other partners then moved on to working at several party and retail shops. I have worked at Flowers by Chris for 3 years as a Floral Designer and just recently promoted as buyer for the company.

Ron Poust                                                      
I have been in the floral industry for over 30 years. I started in a shop in Pennsylvania and moved to Baltimore in 1983 I have been with Flowers by Chris since 1985. In 1993 I became a certified member of AIFD (American Institute Of Floral Designs). I enjoy all aspects of the floral industry especially bridal and party work.

Rob Porachan
Rob is the "Event Specialist" at Flowers by Chris. He holds a B.A from the University of Pittsburgh and received training at the Pittsburgh Floral Academy and the Jane Packer School in London England. He has worked extensively at special event shops in the Washington DC area before opening his own shop in Pittsburgh. He joined the Flowers by Chris team in September of 2005.
